Thanks!

lower ivies and amherst and a slim chance of U Chicago

NYU FOR SURE, I image that is your safety…

Thank you! Anyone else?

I would say NYU is your best bet with a good chance at admission there. Otherwise your SAT score will bring you down for all the top schools at Harvard, Yale, and Princeton kids with 2400s will be rejected so your 2110 while an excellent score does not make you all that competitive for them in terms of SAT scores. Otherwise your app looks pretty solid how were your essays for UChicago that is an important factor for them. I would not be surprised if you got into one of the schools besides NYU; however, I wouldn’t expect anything good from the other schools. They’re reaches for everyone. Best of luck!

thanks! anyone else??

NYU seems possible, Cornell (slim chance), Amherst( slimmer chance), rest (high reach)

thanks!

I’d say NYU is looking pretty good, along with Amherst. I think you have excellent extracurriculars, which definitely helps. Best of luck to you, I hope you get into an Ivy as well. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1860886-could-someone-give-me-chances.html#latest

The only thing holding you back is your SAT scores. I’m almost completely sure about NYU. Good chance for Amherst. Slim chance for UC. I wouldn’t bank on the rest of the Ivies. Good luck! Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1854384-chance-me-for-these-colleges-p1.html

thanks!!

I agree NYU is by far your best bet. The second best would probably be Amherst or Cornell. I hope you get in! Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1861228-chances-so-far-for-a-high-school-junior-wanting-to-get-into-ut-bhp-will-chance-back.html#latest

Thanks can someone give the aprox chances of getting into all these schools (ik its prolly ridiculously low for most of them but still).

NYU without a doubt, but the ivies and UChicago are a reach for anybody. You will likely be a contender but I’m not sure if your SAT is high enough to get in. Your extracurriculars, however, do show interest in specific areas, which will definitely help you stand out among other applicants. It’s very hard to tell exact chances though, especially for schools like these. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1861688-chances-for-barnard-vassar-brandeis-etc.html

thanks! Anyone else?

Your SAT scores will bring you down for the ives and U Chicago, but Amherst and NYU seem like high chances. Columbia would be your best shot at ivies because you attended your summer program, but your scores make you less competitive. Good Luck! Did you receive any interviews from any schools?

Thank you! Yes I had a Princeton, Penn, and Harvard interview. They all seemed to have gone well. (But i’ve heard interviews don’t matter all that much anyway).

Your SAT score is low for the ivies and uchicago. Your french subject test score mitght not look too good. Your GPA might be a bit low, but I’m not sure about that. Competitive dancer is something unique, I guess, and that might help you a lot(if you’re good at it). I guess that you will get into NYU. Not sure about amherst, but the ivies and uchicago would be reaches for you. Best of luck!

Thank you!

It looks like we have a lot in common! I’m also an international student/ U.S citizen and my SAT scores and my GPA are within your range, though I applied to generally less selective schools. I guess your scores are good enough not to get you rejected outright, but it needs to be coupled with good extracurriculars (this is the case) and a great essay. So basically you stand a good chance at NYU and Amherst and maybe even UPenn and Cornell. As for Harvard, Princeton and Columbia, there is no way to know as they are unpredictable. Hope you get into all of them!
P.S: I speak 4 languages too!
