Chances at Top Schools ED

Hey I am applying to university in the fall of 2015, and I know that chance threads arent always accurate and all, but I am looking for some advice as to wether my stats are good enough to apply to an ivy league school ED/EA or if I should perhaps lower my expectations slightly and apply to a Liberal Arts College which is slightly less selective EA/ED.

To be completely honest your SAT score is a little low to be accepted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, or Columbia. However, the rest of your resume looks strong and you have a small chance at the other Ivies. You hae a great chance of getting into alot of elite liberal arts colleges, but probably not an ivy league school. Good luck! I’d hope for your sake that ACT is a 34 or better. Unfortunately, however mean-spirited and misguided this may be, a lot of schools would rather have the student who took normal courses and got A’s than the one who took an AP class and got a 3 or a 4. A pair of strong SAT IIs could help, and with that and a good ACT score you’ll be in with a chance.

If you do get in, it’ll likely be thanks to your dancing, which seems to be an EC you’ve been committed to for a long time. Colleges will be impressed by that.

Thanks so much guys! I’m going to study as hard as I can for the ACTs and see what happens. Can you chance me for Columbia (my dream school), Harvard, Princeton, Williams, Wesleyan, and NYU specifically as well?
