Chance me for top schools? Will chance back!!

Hi Im an upcoming senior and I’m reallllllly nervous about colleges. I want to apply to top colleges like Wash U, Pomona, Vandy, Rice, JHU, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth, Northwestern, and a few others.

ACADEMICS:
SAT 1: 2200(superscore)
GPA UW:3.75; GPA W: 4.0
SAT 2 math:740
SAT 2 Chem: 720
9 APS soph-sr year
ALL other classes taken were Honors
(NOTE: i go to a VERY competitive public school and recieved 2 C plus grades in a class, which was the average grade. I’m super scared that this is going to ruin my chances at any top school but I’m hoping my research (down below) makes up for it.)

EC’s :

Nationally ranked tennis player(been playing for 12 years and ranked at a recruiting caliber

Volunteer at a homeless shelter-set up science experiments for them to encourage interest
Founder of a neuroscience club at highschool and president of it for 3 years
Fundraised for better science school equipment-raised 2000 dollars w/ club
Did a course at UC Berkeley for a summer and received an A grade
member of another science club
started the “Be Wise and Conserve Water” campaign at my school
brought in guest speakers to talk about environmental issues in class

RESEARCH for two summers:
One summer at a Psych lab working under a pHD professor, am getting his
One summer at a very competitive research program -created a paper and got published for my work.
Entered my research in a science fair and got 2nd place prize
Entered a science competition for clean environment innovation and got 3rd place

Dancer for 12 years-performed all over the world in for non profit organizations.
Did 4 Solo performances for different causes
self choreographed one full solo performance

I’m hoping that with a STELLAR Rec from my teachers that I have a great connection with and my research professor, as well as an amazing essay that I’m working on, I’ll still be in the running. I’m also planning to retake the SAT 2 Math to prove my math competency and hope to get an A in AP Calc AB as well. I received an A in PreCalc both semesters.

PLEASE let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help my chances. Thank you!

You have strong ECs, and you should be reasonably competitive for most of the schools listed. Your GPA and 2 C+ grades will be your biggest question mark, but you should have enough to overcome that. If you are being recruited for tennis, then it’s obviously a much easier path. Submitting a dance supplement is also something you should consider. None of those schools is a gimme, so you should have some other options as well.

You’re a lock for Pomona.

This is a great thing to mention if you want a scholarship at Cal Poly. California is a tinderbox.

Don’t apply to the other places undeclared. Any ideas for a major?

I think OP was talking about the liberal arts college Pomona which is much harder to get into. Biggest thing against you is your unweighted and even weighted grade. BUT you said you could be recruited? That is a huge hook, you should look into it
