I have a 4.38 overall gpa, a 3.98 unweighted and have just finished junior year. I have a 4.62 10-11 gpa and will end up taking 10+ AP courses and will be valedictorian. My college essay is like no other in that i am suffering from a rare and incurable heart disease and will be creating a 501c3 for research for it. I have had about 7 club positions (honors societies) and am the director of corporate management for a local 501c3. My SAT is a 2040 with a superscore 2060 and i plan to take it again in june. I want to go to Stanford, northwestern, or Columbia as reaches or to UCSD, UCLA, University of Virginia. What are my chances and any other suggestions for schools if i want to major in econ and polisci?

Study over for the SAT’s and try to get at least 2250. You could also try the ACT’s. Also I know the June SAT has passed but see when the next available date is for you to take the SAT II’s. I recommend that you take at least two for the schools your going to. Aim for at least a 700 but 750+ would help you in the process for applying to Stanford, the ivies and other top tier schools.
