SAT: Only taken once, for sure not my last: 1380 (aiming for much higher which I’m capable of but that was in the midst of AP Exams so I didn’t study)
SAT Essay: 7/6/7
AP Exam Scores: Chem (3) -terrible I know, World (4) Lang (4)
I’m fluent in both Arabic and English (Middle Eastern)
From Massachusetts
Plays both Clarinet and Bass Guitar

My guess is that you’ll need a super wow essay to pull off admission to these two. You might do it, particularly at Tufts, but I think it’s going to be tough. If you can get your scores up, that could help quite a bit. Tufts seems to consider those heavily. You will want both your sub scores to be in their range. (Look at the CDS for both schools. For Tufts, only 25% of the class had a 680 or below in English and 700 in math.)

You are not going to be wasting your time applying , but I don’t think the odds are in your favor.

Tufts is a reach, Brown a high reach.

Did you have English soph year? Will you graduate with 4 years of English/SS/Sci/Math? What major(s) are you considering?

What is your GPA on a 4.0 scale? If your school doesn’t provide, calculate it yourself using an A/A- as 4.0, B+/B/B- as 3.0 and so on.

Make sure to spend time researching and identifying 4-6 match schools and 1-2 safeties that are affordable. What can/will your family pay per year of college?
