- 4.0 GPA (out of 4)
- School does not officially rank, but currently in running for Valedictorian (class size about 90 - Public School)
- 32 ACT (studying for the April test with hopes of getting at least a 34)
- PSAT score was solid this year, won't know if I'm a National Merit Scholar until the Fall.
- My school does not offer APs, but I am in all Honors classes. I doubled up on math my sophomore year and am currently in Calculus I, which counts as a dual-enrollment credit through my small, local university. I also have been independently studying for the AP Calculus test and am registered to take it in May.
- Next year I plan to take 2 classes per semester at my local university (Calc II, American History, and two others that I have not decided), and I will take the other dual enrollment class that my school offers (English IV/Writing I).
- I am President of my school's Speech and Debate team, President of Tri-M Music Honors Society, Principle Chair Trombone in Band, Band President, Captain of the Quiz Bowl Team, and Editor of my school's newspaper. I am also a member of the National Honors Society and Student Government Association.
- I am a three time state qualifier in Public Forum Debate, and this year I won Ohio's State Championship and qualified to the National Speech and Debate Association's National Tournament. I broke multiple state-wide records for regular season success in debate this year.
- Letter winner and three year member of Track team.
- I am a Buckeye Boys State delegate (don't know if this really means anything).
- Founded my school's Political Thought club, combining my two main interests of social justice and philosophy and getting an opportunity to share it with my peers.
I currently plan to major in Economics. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks in advance!
