I'm a senior in high school. UChicago is my priority. I also have no problem with the idea of working incredibly hard for my education. I love their curriculum and style of teaching. I'll be showing this very effectively in my essays. I know it's a tough school to accepted into, so I was wondering if anyone here would tell me whether or not I stand a chance based on this information:

Texas
Small, college-prep private school (graduating class of 23). In the top 3 of my school (I don't know exact because it doesn't rank)
EA admission
Applying for an alumni interview
Currently have a GPA of 4.52 (with AP classes weighted in. Will go up at the end of this current grading quarter)
ACT Composite of 30. Plan on retaking the ACT in October.
Two semesters of U.S. History, one semester of Intro. to Psychology, and one semester of Intro. to Macroeconomics at my city's community college (It's a pretty good community college). GPA of 3.75 at this college. I know they don't accept dual-credit courses, but I think it'll show my ambition for learning.
Secretary of my school's National Honors Society.
National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar. (I am Hispanic)
12th grade class representative in my school's Student Council.
My school's college counselor told me that some schools like this because LGBT support is "in" or something, but both my mother and father are homosexual (I am not). I know this probably doesn't matter, though. I only mention it because the counselor did.
Members of my family have attended college, but none of them have received a degree.
AP English III, Pre-AP Physics, AP Calculus in 11th grade (Didn't take U.S. History because of the dual-credit community college classes). Government, AP Environmental Science, and AP English IV this year (Not taking Economics because of the dual-credit classes). Completed my 3 years of foreign language credits in 10th grade (Latin).
The unique part of my extracurricular activities is being a writer, host, and music coordinator of a student-run radio public radio program. I've been a member of it since 9th grade, and I've done various interesting things with it, like interviewing members of popular bands (Cheap Trick, The Black Angels, Mudhoney, and Young the Giant, to name a few) and doing official press coverage of music festivals.
