Chance me for UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC! AP Scores are upsetting...

Help me out guys; I promise to chance back! The thing is, my AP Scores are upsetting, and I also have a C in AP Bio (but I got a 4 on the exam). Junior year has just really exhausting and painful for me: first love and heartbreak, grandma was sick, identity crisis, constant arguments with parents… I really don’t know. I’m just glad I made it out alive.

I think you have a very good chance for each school, and the leadership you displayed in your ECs will help you when applying as a business major for two of them. Having a C in AP bio won’t look too bad, especially as you scored a 4 on the AP exam - this suggests that you have a strict teacher. ECs are good; rank is impressive. Standardized testing seems like the weaker part of your app (even though the scores are still great) but as you said, you will retake the ACT and that will make your acceptance more of a sure thing.

Chance me back? UT Austin, UPenn, Rice, Stanford

Rank: 19/560 at a very competitive school :frowning:
GPA: 4.0 UW/4.59 W
Race: White and Asian (will most likely mark white)
State: TX
ACT score: 34 composite (36 English, 34 reading, 33 math, 33 sci)
SAT score: 2160 (will not report)

AP Scores:
AP Lang - 5
Psych: 5
Environmental Sci: 4
APUSH (has not been reported yet, but I’m expecting a 5)

Senior Courseload: AP Eco, AP gov, AP lit, Honors PreCal, AP Stats, Business Information Management

ECs
National Honor Society- Volunteer Coordinator, Race Committee (planned a color run and designed the course)
Student Council - At Large Officer (9th), President (10th)
Selected as my school’s Hugh O Brien Youth Leadership Congress Delegate
Cross country - 10th and 11th
Best Buddies - Peer Buddy (11th)
Counselor’s Advisory Board - Vice President (11th)
FORCE (my school’s volunteering club) - 120 hours

Volunteered as an assistant teacher for KVPAC (a performing arts school that teaches low-income students for free)

GREAT extracurriculars, nice leadership, consistency, and theme. Pretty bad scores on all accounts, but AP scores aren’t looked at that much for college admissions. Get that act or SAT up and it’ll be aight. Be wary of your GPA, because the weighted GPA is giving you a solid rank but colleges focus on unweighted. Overall, I’d say you are “better” than these schools tbh, and should try to get into the ivy league. Chance me please? Stats can be found on my most recent thread, I’m on mobile and lazy

Had a change of heart

ACT: 34
GPA: 3.97 UW, 4.16 W
SAT: 1500/1600
AP:
Junior: classes for Gov (5), Microecon (4), Lang and Comp (5), Chem (3) and tests for APUSH (4) and Macroecon (4) too. Pretty ugly

Senior: Calc BC, Spanish, Comp Sci, Stats
Having independent study (since I don’t want to pay for local CC credits that won’t transfer) for intermediate micro and intermediate macroeconomics, it’s going to be brutal and I only can hope colleges don’t view it as a blow-off

Extracurriculars:

3 honor societies (11,12)
Stock investing stuff: helped teach friends (10,11) and then we started a formal club (12)
Track: (9,10, varsity 12)
Cross Country: (varsity 12)
Science Olympiad: (11 regional gold team, 12 idk yet)
Work: (11 general labor, 11.5-12 promoted to part supervisor)
Animal care (horse, goat, and more normal pets): (9,10,11,12)
Community Service: (9,10,11,12)
Games Club (lol): (9, 10, 11, 12)
idk if I can include this but mountain biking has been a big part of my life since I was a kid, I might try to get sponsored this summer

NOICE extracurriculars with consistency, lesdership
Bad test scores but ap scores don’t hold that much weight. Redo sat or act and it’ll be okay.
Great rank
Weird GPA with low UW but high W. Tad sketchy since colleges care more about UW
strong course rigor

Jeez,. Recs would rek******** fo****** autocorrect needs to kill itself

I’m very sorry for spam… forgot to rank in new posting. I think you have a great chance at all of those schools, and if retesting goes well, you should aim even higher
