<p>I’d say you have UCSD in the bag. Plenty of my friends got in there with worse stats, and they don’t really look at ECs at all. UCLA is more selective, but one of my friends got in with scores/GPA almost exactly identical to yours. Berkeley, on the other hand… Might be a stretch. Then again, a lot of fairly average kids from my school got accepted there. I’d say you are guaranteed to get in to one of those schools, probably two, possibly all three.</p>
<p>For this year, I’d definitely try to raise the SAT score which is presently below the 2050 average at Cal and LA. They’ll be taking fewer freshmen this year, for a good shot you want all stats above last years’ averages.</p>
<p>Well, actually, if you look how they allocate points, ECs can be worth around 1000 points on their app – which is almost 1/4 the worth of UC GPA. A total of around 7800-7900 should be good for admission this year. Check the UCSD section for more details of your score.</p>
