chance me for UCB, Northwestern, Bryn Mawr?

Female
Texas

SAT 710M 640CR 800W (Will take again in October)
SATII 760 Spanish, 680 Math 2, Taking lit in the fall

Private school, no rank or GPA
Top 10%
92 average
*School has a very tough grading system with different letter grades, so grades don't really transfer. If I switched to a public school, I would have a 98ish average.

School only offers 10ish APs, most of which can't be taken until Junior Year. At the most, Graduating Seniors have taken maybe 4 APs total. Next year there will be no APs. I took one AP class and 2 tests.

ECs:
-Madrigals (Top choir at my school)
-Choir
-Voice
-Varsity Swimming
-National Charity League (Since 7th grade)
-Piano (12 years)
-Dance

Awards:
-Spanish 3A award
-NCL Award-- Mother/Daughter community service award

Chance me for HYPS, Carleton, Bryn Mawr, Georgetown, Connecticut College, Northwestern, Rice, UC Berkeley, University of Texas

buuuuuummmp!

you’ve got a big shot at Berkeley; your SAT scores are really good. really, it depends on your essay…you’ve got the average stats of a UC berkeley student…
HYPS, very little chance
the other colleges i’m not familiar with

UT your in cause your in Top 10%

Thanks for the reply. I go to a private school though, so I don’t think the top 10% percent applies (and my school doesn’t report top 10%). Anyone know about any of the others? My essay should be pretty good.

bump bump bumpedy bump.

UT- match
Rice- match/slight reach
HYPS- reaches
Bryn Mawr- match/slight reach? i’ve looked at it, but not enough to be able to say for sure
Georgetown- reach, but not as much as HYPS
I don’t really know about the other schools.. sorry :)

I would focus on getting the CR score on your SAT up and keeping your grades up through sr year.

Doesn’t Bryn Mawr accept the vast majority of applicants?

Sorry, I just checked and was totally wrong!
