Chance me for UCI, UCLA, UCSD, UCR, CSULB, CSUF, Cal Poly Pomona, and Chapman University!

Hi guys, first post. I am applying to UCI, UCLA, UCSD, UCR, CSULB, CSUF, Cal Poly Pomona, and Chapman University! Still working on my personal statements (very hard to write, I just can't talk about myself) but I want to see what my chances are with my stats!

I am an Asian male.
Weighted Acad GPA (10-12) - 4.66
Unweighted Acad GPA (10-12) - 3.86
I think my UC GPA is 4.25

School doesn't rank students but I am definitely near the top.

By the end of the year I should have taken 9 AP's.
APUSH - 3
AP Lang - 4
AP World - 4

ACT Composite score - 30
Eng - 30
Math - 31
Reading - 32
Science - 26 ( I know pretty low but I never study for tests, I went in blind and did not expect graph analysis)
Writing - 28 ( 8 on the essay)

SAT I - 1910 (again, I didn't study at all)
Math - 630
Reading - 630
Writing - 650

SAT II - haven't taken it yet

My schedule has been pretty full and challenging, although I opted for a third year in French and sacrificed AP Psych for regular (which was a very fun class). Did that hurt me in any way?

EC's

Over 400 hours of community service. (From different organizations)
President of Key Club, past historian
Vice President of Red Cross Club, past bulletin editor
Member of National Honor Society (dropped out of elections to avoid being overwhelmed)

Varsity Tennis Captain this year
Tennis player all 4 years, Varsity starting sophomore year.

Awards
AP Scholar Award
Scholar Athlete for 3 years (haven't started season so we can't have awards yet lol)
Member of the Month in my club division
Honor roll

Not sure if there is anything else I can add.

Thanks in advance guys!

UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Low Reach/High Match
Chapman/UCI: Match
UCR: Low Match
CSUF/CPP/CSULB: Safety
Chances may change due to intended major.

Thanks @Gumbymom‌

*bump

I have also applied to Berkeley now instead of UCR. Anyone else have an opinion?

You’re going the opposite way. I would say Merced, San Marcos, and Bakersfield.

I go to Cal Poly Pomona and from what I can see, CPP is a safety for you haha I got in with a 3.2! LOL

Chapman is a definite, I got in with a 3.4 and 1710 SAT. UCLA is a big stretch, considering all the people ik who have been denied with stats and activities greater than yours. the others i am honestly not so familiar with, but best of luck!

smartbutlazyy…check out this post on the Chapman admissions thread right now: “Got an email on friday (December 19), deferred. I’m wondering what I did wrong. I got a 32 on my ACT, 3.9 GPA, many AP’s and pretty good essays. I applied to Dodge so I’m thinking maybe it was because my art supplement was not good enough. I also applied the last day possible for EA, if that means anything. I’m just really nervous because I considered Chapman to be one of my easier schools and now I feel like I won’t even get in…”

No, Chapman is not a “definite.” It depends upon major – there are several at Chapman that admit only kids with super high stats.

OP, what is your intended major?
