Chance me for UCLA, UCSD, USC, Washington, Northwestern, and Cornell

<p>Hello! So i am filling out University applications and I would love to get some chances so I know what to expect. :) I have posted before but this is the most up to date info and would love to get one last chance before I apply.</p>

<p>I am looking to apply for business or pre-med at:
UCLA
UCSD
USC
Northwestern, Cornell, washington at st. louis (all extreme reaches i know)
Also suggest other universities that are close to my stats or are slight reaches.</p>

<p>Nationality: Ontario Canada
Gender: Male
Ethnicity: Chinese Canadian
Class Rank: Not too sure
GPA: 3-3.5
Classes:
(Im IB)
HL Bio: predicted will be 6 or 7
Sl Chem: predicted will be 5 or 6
HL Econ: predicted will be 6 or 7
SL Eng: predicted will probably be 5 or 6
SL French: Have a 5
SL MAth: Have a 6
I hope to be predicted around 33-37 out of 42</p>

<p>OH yea. IB conversions:
7 = 95-99%
6 = 91-95%
5 = 80-89%
and so on</p>

<p>Percentage average:
Grade 9: 87.25%
Grade 10: 82.75</p>

<p>Grade 11:
Math SL 1: 91%
Math SL 2: 91%
French SL 1: 58%
French SL 2: 89% (down converted from a 92%)
Biology HL 1: 89%
Economics HL 1: 89%
English HL 1: 80%
Chemistry SL 1: 81%</p>

<p>SAT- Got 1960 on my first try. Retaking tomorrow and looking at around 2100-2200</p>

<p>ECs-
Over 800 hours of volunteering
(3 years retirement community, 3 years hospital, 2 years another hospital)
Did microbiology research at a lab University of Toronto
President of PALS 2 years (club promoting awareness for ALS)
York Region Transit Ambassador for my school
Taekwondo (3 years, black stripe belt)
Was in School Band
RCM Piano Grade 8 with Honors and Advanced Rudiments (First Class Honors with Distinction)
Worked part-time for 2 years as a tutor at Kumon
Took art lessons since 5 years old</p>

<p>Do you have a problem with York or Ryerson? Or these are your safeties?</p>

<p>I’m sorry to say, but all of those are reaches. Most of those schools want 3.8+ GPA’s.</p>

<p>You are an international student. Remember that. This means you’ll be competing with thousands of others from ALL AROUND THE WORLD. Especially at schools like Northwestern and Cornell, applicants will show SAT scores of 2200+ and subject test scores of 750+. Sorry, but all of these schools are out of reach for you. Your EC’s are meh.</p>
