Hoping to write an outstanding essay and have great letters of rec. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of getting into these universities? All feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you!

bumppppppp
anyone?

bump
would really appreciate any feedback!

CSU Long Beach: High Match
Penn State: Match
UC Davis: Reach
UC Riverside: Low Reach/High Match
UC Irvine: Low Reach
Syracuse: Low Reach
Stony Brook, and other SUNY: Safety

Get those SATs UP, try to score 2000+, even better 2100+; then, you’ll probably get into most these schools.

For one, the CSU system does not use essays, recommendations, or much else either than transcripts and test scores for admissions. Your best bet at improving chances of admissions is raising your SAT score.

CSU Long Beach: Safety
CSU San Diego (Referred to as SDSU, if you weren’t aware): High Match
UC Davis: Low Reach
UC Irvine: Reach
UC Riverside: Match
UC Santa Barbara: High Match/Low Reach
Syracuse: Match

CSU Long Beach: Low match
CSU San Diego: Low match
UC Davis: Reach
UC Riverside: Low Match
UC Irvine: High Match
UC Santa Barbara: Match

Thanks for the feedback!

@ neuromajor, I’m aware the CSU system doesn’t use letters of rec or essays. The essay is for the UC’s and letters of rec for the OOS schools that use them in the admission process. Also aware it’s referred to as SDSU, my mistake.

Will study like crazy for the SAT and also planning to take ACT. Any other schools I should look into and consider applying at?
