<p>@Dunboyne those all seem like great options, however, they’re all private and although my family can afford it, it’s not ideal. I am making the exception for a few though, so I’ll still look into and consider those!</p>

Would that still make it a reach for me? </p>
<p>@sd9754 is it really that bad? I haven’t visited any of the campuses & their surrounding areas except for Berkeley and Davis. I mainly want to apply to UCR because I know it’s a guaranteed safety.</p>
