<p>You might want to consider applying as a Summer B admit. Many of my friends feel that applying as a Summer B was what helped their boarder line child with admissions at UF. The school does not say that it helps but most folks feel that it does help to say you are willing to start in June. Something to consider…</p>
<p>Everything looks good (and you should be a match), except for that class ranking…even with a 4.5+ weighted GPA, you’re not in the top 20%? UF usually selects folks in the top 10%. </p>
<p>It may have more to do with UF selecting very high GPA’s, than them taking class rank into account (the AO’s never discuss class rank as a factor in admissions). Still, you may want to check with your GC, and see what the history is at your high school for acceptances to UF.</p>
