I used to go to an IB curriculum school but this summer I moved to Texas due to my dad's job transfer so I'll be going to an AP curriculum school for my senior year. I'm not exactly sure if I'm counted as an international applicant or an in-state applicant (I hold Indonesian citizenship but I've lived in Texas for more than 5 years before). I've also skipped a grade and was on a half-tuition scholarship in my previous school. I take around 4 HL classes & 2 SL classes (the maximum is 3 HL classes & 3 SL classes but I've been granted special permission).

I've taken the SATs twice, but I'm planning to take it again this October. I don't know what major to choose actually. I want to go to ME or PE but those majors are extremely competitive to get into in UT Austin and A&M. I might end up doing BE or Biology though since my talent mainly lies in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (but not in math - I am absolutely horrendous at it!).

SAT scores (as of May 2014):
CR: 670
Math: 650
Writing: 550 (I know, my grammar skills are terrible!)

IB score as of last semester (all scores are out of 7):
English Language & Literature A HL: 7
Bahasa Indonesia B HL: 7
Biology HL: 6
Chemistry HL: 5
Psychology SL: 5
Math SL: 3

TOTAL IB SCORE: 33/42
(NOTE: My school does not give out ranks and GPA)

What are my current chances in UT and A&M? If I don't make it into those schools, what are some other optional universities that I can apply to in Texas? Thanks.
