Chance me for UVA, Cornell, etc. Will Chance Back!!!

Hey so I'm a rising senior this year and have started my Common Application. I'm potentially looking to go to an engineering program to major in biomedical or chemical engineering depending on what each school offers. If the university has no engineering school, or I don't plan on applying to its engineering school, assume that I will major in chemistry.

List of Schools:
Cornell Engineering (Legacy)
Columbia Engineering (Legacy)
UPenn Engneering
Duke
WUSTL
Boston College
UVA Engineering (EA + Legacy)
Colgate
Princeton (SCEA)
Harvard (Applying just to see)
Lehigh Engineering
JHU Engineering
Tufts Engineering
Georgetown
Rutgers (Accepted)

I would call Penn, Duke, Harvard, Princeton, and JHU reaches but the rest should be good. Legacy doesn’t help nearly as much as you would think for the Ivys (source - brother got rejected from Yale with a perfect GPA and 35 on ACT. Mom and Grandfather went there and Grandfather donates a lot). Other than that I might just narrow down the number of schools so that you don’t have to write so many essays!

Chance me!

You will most likely get into all schools. Only true reaches are Harvard, Princeton, and JHU. Best of luck!

Chance back please at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1691716-chance-and-will-chance-back.html#latest

@Alec43 I actually have a well worked out timeline for writing my essays, and actually got quite a few done already. Let’s just hope I can adhere to it well.

Then you should be good!!! I wish I would’ve done that…

Rather intriguing list of schools …Ivies and JHU for Engg, BC and Georgetown for Chem ?!? Have you thought through this ?
