Chances at Cornell / other schools I should consider

I'm about to enter my senior year in high school, and I begin applying tomorrow. I'm interested in Cornell for their engineering department, though I also have a strong interest in biology, specifically genetics. I'm curious because if I have a pretty good shot, I'll go visit the school and talk to some professors to try to get a feel for the school. Here's my resume:

GPA: 4.769 weighted (may be slightly higher, haven't gotten the updated one yet)
Unweighted it's whatever all A's and one semester grade of a B is.

Class Rank: 10/540ish (may be up or down a few spots)

Courseload: 4 AP classes so far (world history, american history, calc AB, and english language). I am taking macro/micro econ, lit, psych, calc bc next year, and i am debating taking either bio or stats. All other classes are honors. Please note that my school offers 14+ ap classes

AP Scores: 3 on world history, 4 calc ab, 4 english lang, 4 american history

SAT: 2090 (800 math, 650 reading, 640 writing) - 8 on essay

SAT2: Math2: 640 (will retake, didn't study first time), US History: 730
Will take Bio as well

ACT: 33 composite (36 science, 35 math, 32 writing, 30 reading) 29 combined writing and essay (8 essay)

President of Jewish Awareness Club, treasurer junior year

Treasurer of Chemistry Club

Treasurer of Mu Alpha Theta senior year (won 2 competitions throughout high school)

National Honor Society

Science National Honor Society

Varsity Tennis all 4 years

Peer Connectors all 4 years (program where students help incomming freshman make transition into high school. it is selective)

Robotics freshman and sophomore year

Worked as a counselor at a camp summer coming into freshman and sophomore year

Worked at pizza place summer into junior year

Paid internship this summer at engineering company

Volunteer on a board that raises money for congenital heart defects

I am also in the engineering academy at my school, where we take engineering-specific courses that RIT gives college credit for some.

Please let me know what you think that my chances are. Also, if you have any other schools that i may want to consider, it would be appreciated. I am highly considering genetics, and in engineering I'm looking at fields in biology and chemistry.

As of now, I'm taking biology 2 honors next year and aerospace engineering (which I don't have much interest in). I'm considering taking AP bio instead of bio 2, and if I don't do that, I was thinking of taking Ap stats instead of aerospace. What would you guys recommend?

Thank you in advance for the advice and help.

I would stick with the aerospace class because engineering is mostly calc and doesn’t really use stats. I am going into nursing and applying now as well and thats where stats is used a lot. And as far as biology goes, I think AP would be better. With all the info you put up there I think you can handle it. I think you have pretty good chances at Cornell. Also, Purdue in Indiana and University of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign have great engineering programs. Best of luck!

Your EC’s are great. I would only submit your ACT since your SAT is slightly lower. I would also consider Michigan in addition to what ozzy suggested. Cornell would be a high match for you however better odds at Michigan.

Thanks for the advice. I’m also considering University of Florida (safe school), University of Central Florida (safe school), Georgia Tech, Purdue, Northwestern, Duke, and Illinois. I would apply to Michigan, but it’s nearly the same school as Florida but up north, so I decided against it.

I would say that you have a good shot at all these schools if you write a good essay.
Could you please chance me?
