This may be a reach but I am a junior in high school and I am looking at UW, specifically the Anthropology department. I am predicting my GPA will be around a 3.49 by the end of senior year and I will have taken 4 IB classes (SL and HL Anthropology, Psychology, Geography). My weighted GPA should be something like a 3.61. I am planning on taking college courses at my state college this summer in Anthropology and Sociology. I have not yet taken the SAT or ACT but I am hoping to get a 18-1900 and a 28-29 (maybe higher?....)
Extracurricular Activities:
Cross-country 3 years (Varsity 2 years)
Track 4 years
Soccer (JV2) freshman year
Play Coed soccer off season
I am part of the International Culture Club
I also am part of a club called LEAF where we volunteer at a local daycare after school
Yeah, my extracurriculars aren't that great, I am working on them.

You seem like a solid applicant! Just try to aim for above a 2000 on the SAT or 30 on the ACT and you should be in good shape for UW!

You have a decent chance. Like newuser789 said, I would try to bring your ACT or SAT score up as much as you can and continue to work on your ECs :)

Hi, is this referring to University of Wisconsin at Madison, if so I believe it would be a high match, simply because of GPA, but that can be made up for with high SAT scores

Sorry! I am referring to the University of Washington but I’ll take a look at the University of Wisconsin too! thanks! xoxo

UWA: Aim for 2000+/29+
UWI: Aim for 2000+/29+

While your GPA is a little on the low side for UW-Madison, a high ACT score should be able to balance it out.
