Hi everyone! I'm highly interested in Wake Forest, but my situation is kinda....unique. Here are my stats. What do you guys think? Will I get in or not?

I am a 20 year old Bi-Racial (Black and Hispanic) male from Georgia (US State). When I graduate next May, I will have taken six years to complete high school. I haven't failed any classes, but I was sick for about 7 months, and there were some MAJOR family issues that I went through. These are the reasons why I have taken so long to graduate.

GPA: 3.95 (Top 10%)

5 classes of Math (Only up to Algebra 2...My school doesn't offer any higher. )

5 classes of Social Science

3 classes of Science (Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry)

2 classes of Foreign Language

4 classes of English

I attend American School of Correspondence; a correspondence school in Lansing, Illinois, but I actually reside in Georgia. They're accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, they will send a Transcript, teacher recs, and a Guidance Counselor's letter. American School doesn't offer APs, IBs, or Honors, but I have taken just about the most challenging curriculum my school offers. Also, I've already spoken to admissions counselors at Wake Forest and I've been told that I wouldn't apply as a home schooler or need to send the home school supplement.

Anyway...

SAT: Wasn't planning to submit.

Work Experience:

I run errands with my mom throughout the week. It may not sound like much but it really does help my family, it's time consuming, and it's my current job.-10 hours per week.

Automotive Mechanic Assistant:

I work with my dad on cars. We've done jobs as simple as tune-ups and brakes to jobs as complex as replacing engines and transmissions.- 2 hours per week.

Computer Mechanic:

This doesn't happen often, but if there is a problem with one of our computers, I fix them. Also, the two computers that are in my house were assembled my me. We bought old broken computers from computer stores and the Goodwill. I then would diagnose what was wrong with them, buy the needed part/parts. Replace them, and just like that, we have two working computers that cots less than $100.

Self-Employed:

Since I was about 12, I've had my own business. I buy video games and gaming cards (Geeky, I know. ), then sell them. I haven't made much money, but the little I do make certainly does help...-3 hours per week

Sports:

NOTE: Remember, I attend a school of correspondence, so my sports and extra-curricular activities will be almost entirely community-based.

Captain of community Basketball team. (I've been playing since I was about 13.)

Co-Captain of community football team. (Same as above.)

Extra-Curricular Activities: u

Founder of a Rosary prayer group. We meet daily to pray the rosary. We sometimes discuss religion.

Founder of a Political Debate Organization: We usually meet weekly to discuss and debate politics. (It's been incredibly civil, much to my surprise...

Community Service:

Participated in a Rivers Alive clean-up. (Oct. 2010.) Spent a Saturday picking up trash on the river shore and the surrounding area.

Co-founder of a community beautifying group: We pick up trash throughout the neighborhood in which I live. We also sometimes cut grass in areas the county government doesn't get.

Volunteer at a thrift shop that funds the local Battered Women's Center.

I believe that's it....So, what does the Wake Forest community think? Will I be accepted or not?

Thanks for taking your time to read my painfully long post! :D
