Essays:
Common App: 9/10 really personal but also academic
Supplement: 8/10 not really sure how to rank it but it gives insight into why I enjoy pre-med stuff
Teacher Rec: 8/10 (can’t be sure about anything, but I had a really good relationship with Bio teacher and am sure that, at the very least, it would be an 8/10)
Outside Rec: 10/10 from lab internship boss
Counselor Rec: 9/10

Strengths: ACT, GPA, essays, demonstrated interest (have visited campus and corresponded with local admissions officer)
Weaknesses: unsure about recommendations, come from a very competitive school/area so it’s very difficult to stand out

Nothing outstanding. If you can write about your internships and volunteer work, you might have a shot

Sorry–for clarification, my common app was about my experience with dying patients, both as a volunteer and in my personal life. My supplement was about my internships and hands on experience in the lab and in the hospital

Pre-med is not a major in itself-you can pretty much declare any major and be pre-med as long as you take the appropriate classes.

Possibly low reach. Numbers are there and course load is sufficiently rigorous. Have you visited the campus yet?

Any AP scores?

All 4’s and 5’s for AP’s, and I have visited campus

Low reach then. Did you have an interview during your visit?

Yup, I felt like the interview went really well
