i think that if you get all a’s your senior year then you should have a chance at some of those schools, i can say for sure that stanford is a high reach as well as cornell. Have you looked into any other schools like Wake Forest, U Michigan?

I’m trying to get all a’s this semester and senior year. my school suffered grade inflation a several years back, so now it’s extremely hard to get A’s in top classes.

I would also like to hear other different opinions and suggestions.

i think you have a very good shot at most of those schools. i mean, you are a junior so you still have a lot of time and things change. keep up your grades and you will be in a very good position.
and aim for your target score on SATs. cornell is the only “reach-ish” school, but if you get SATs in that range you have a great chance!!
good luck!
want to chance a senior!?

My grades aren’t exactly as good as i wanted them to be. I’m taking my first SAT in two weeks. I know Stanford and Cornell are reaches. I REALLY want to get into Northwestern though. I’m for sure getting more volunteer hours including an internship at the museum of health and science.
