I’d say you have you a chance. Your stats meet the threshold of accepted students, so it’s up to the rest of your application. It’ll probably come down to your letters of rec and your essay(s).
I think my letters of rec were pretty strong! I have one from the state rep that I interned with, one from my AP gov teacher who I was pretty close with, and one from my counselor.
My AP Lit teacher edited my essays and liked them so hopefully it’s enough. I know how unpredictable this whole process is. Thank you for your help!
How was your “WHY GW” essay? Other things that GW would take into account is how much Fin Aid you would need (they are not needs blind) and if you are a URM. Without the use of accepted student days, to maintain yield, they will probably lean more towards those kids that they believe really want to go to GW, versus throwing an app out there.
