Chance me + Give me advice? (Sophomore in High school)

I've been stressing over grades a lot lately ever since my Class of 15' friends have been getting accepted into very amazing colleges.
I live in Washington.

9th Grade Classes:
Honors English
Honors Physics
Honors Algebra 2
Computer Science (UW Credit)
Honors Spanish 2

Graphic Design

My freshman year was crap. I don't want to go in depth but my gpa was about 2.8 / 2.9.

11th Grade Classes:
Honors English
Pre-Calculus
AP Environmental Science
AP Biology
Honors Spanish 3
Engineering

Unweighted / Weighted - 3.28 / 3.78
By the end of the semester I'm hoping to have 3.5 / 4.0

In second semester I'm hoping to at least have 3.78 / 4.28

11th Grade Classes:
AP Calculus AB
AP US History
AP Language
Honors Chemistry
AP Psychology

Forensic Science

12th Grade:
AP Calculus BC
Biomedical Engineering
AP Statistics
Health
AP Physics
AP Chemistry

-
EC's:
I've only done one club freshman year.

This year I'm in NHS, NAHS, and HOSA (Future Health Professionals).
In the next two years I'm planning on joining the above three + FBLA (Future Business Leaders)
I volunteer at a museum for a couple weeks every summer, and also starting this year a science museum for 2 months.
I also JUST started volunteering in a youth program which I plan on doing for the rest of the 3 school years as well.

I plan on volunteering at a nearby hospital in February.

I got a 175 on the PSAT and I'm looking into taking classes for the ACT.
(not sure if that's even useful information)

I'm very interested in UW, their medical school, UCLA and UCSD. Of course these aren't my only choices because I haven't looked into much else yet. Not even sure what I want to be yet but biology/biomedical engineering really interests me so far. I'm just super paranoid about getting my shit together over these next few years.

Are my classes ok? I know I definitely need more EC's. What grades do I need in order to make it into at least UW/ any other college?
Chance me for the above schools + any other UC's?

That crap freshman year might hurt you, nevermind will hurt you, but i suggest you continue with your EC’s. As in get even more Ec’s and excel in your classes. Explain what happened your freshman year and make it seem like you really care about the school, are ready for the challenge and tell them how you bounced back from freshman year failure.

UCs don’t look at Freshman grades, so that’s a huge plus for you. They only look at Sophomore and Junior year grades, so make this and next year count.

Not so good for other schools. If you have a good reason for that first year, you can still aim as high as you want, but if you don’t, then aim a little lower.

Thanks for the replies! I really appreciate the honest advice
