@Nihilus, so that’d mean that he’d be considered my counsin and not my brother then, I assume.

@Polydreamer, thanks.

@Polydreamer, thanks.

Impressive stuff! Even though you are an international applicant, your internship and leadership experience look very appealing to colleges. You have a good shot at UPenn CAS. I would be surprised if you didn’t get in.

Gosh darn it. I’m extremely jealous of your academics and scores haha. Fantastic job all the way around on your profile. You’ve got an interested quirk about you in that you’ve done screenwriting and filmmaking! I’m confused as to why you’re applying CAS rather than Wharton considering the majority of your ECs are somewhat business-oriented…

ED Penn CAS: As low as low reach can get for someone (considering you’ve applied ED and to CAS rather than Wharton)
Princeton: Reach (for all)
Cornell: High Match
Columbia: Reach
Chicago: Low Reach

Best of luck! Hopefully we both get into Penn since it’s our dream school :)

@Wharton. The ultimate goal is to go into business, and it’s also because my parents are business people. But, the dream here is to read PPE, something that I’ve wanted for Ages. And I have to apply to CAS to read that.

Best of luck to you as well.

With your scores and GPA, any school would be crazy to reject you. You have enough EC’s to make you a well rounded candidate which is perfect because academics seems to be your main focus.
If your recommendation letters and essay are as well written as you believe they are, you should have no problem getting into UPenn and Cornell, because of your passion for the school and the fact that you are a legacy.
Princeton is probably the biggest reach for you, but it is definitely an option.
Good luck!

I think all of these are right in your range. You are very competitive for all of them, however with ivies so is everyone else. I think you have a very good chance though for all of them. Good luck!

I think especially with ED at penn, you have a great chance. Low Reach/High match

My concern is your ECs, your grades are excellent but there needs to be a focus to your extra curriculars.
UPenn:Low Reacg
Princeton: High Reach, legacy will help you though
Cornell: Low reach/match
Columbia: Reach
Chicago: Reach

Bumpity Bump Bump?

The fact that you are only applying to top tier schools with super low admittance rates makes it super hard to effectively chance you.

Bump again? The wait is killing me. 1.5 weeks down. 3.5 to go.

UPenn CAS (ED): Accepted.
Princeton: Waitlisted
Cornell: Accepted
Columbia: Accepted
Chicago: Accepted

I think you’ll get into Penn. Your profile is fantastic. My other predictions are in case you don’t get into Penn, but I don’t think you should be worried about that.

Although the ivies are always a reach for everyone, you will probably get into at least one of your ivies. Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1576961-chance-nervous-student-please.html

I think you have a decent shot at these schools. Your scores and ECs are brilliant. Try to write good essays, and you are set to go.

Chance back?http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1575443-chance-me-my-ed-ea-hyp-mit-please-will-chance-back-3.html

You have as good of a chance as any international. “I led a winning Entrepreneurial Team in a competition on the back of a 385K business concept” was the 385k just how much the concept would cost to start-up? Just wondering haha wouldn’t affect your chances at all

Wow! Those are wonderful academic achievements. I don’t think there is anything restricting your high chances into getting into those universities, honestly! Completely wish you the best of luck!

UPenn would be a match for you, I think. Princeton a reach ( you know why) and chicago… Probably a match too… Please chance back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1579698

@Kobe Yeah-ish. 385k was the very safe estimate. We figured we could (well I did, not everyone agreed with me) get but with 250-275k. But to be safe, our proposal said 385k in start-up capital mostly raised from our team. About 3 years worth of costs.

Thanks guys!

Bump? Please?

Bump again?
