Junior Transfer 2013
At time of transfer=
Complete IGETC
Completed all Pre-reqs

EC:
All my EC are military related, I was medically retired for injuries sustained while serving. As soon as active duty time ended I started school and have taken as many classes as possible each semester.

Oh come on, you know you want to.

Ok I’ll take the bait. Name three reasons USC should accept you.

1) Integrity
2) Honor
3) Selfless Service

Admirable qualities, and certainly something I expect of any Trojan. Those attributes certainly would pique the interest of any college. But why USC? Why do you believe USC is a good fit for you, especially given the fact you’re a transfer student?

I chose those qualities because I believe they are values in me that can thrive at USC. It is evident when speaking to any USC alum, that honor just pours out of them. USC also has a standing reputation of Selfless Service, providing opportunities at a top tier education for individuals who may have taken a different life path. Why as a transfer? Well, I chose to forgo a higher education in order to voluntarily deploy as US Infamtryman. In that time I met the love of my life and witnessed the birth of my son. I want to be a part of something that sees the value in that. I want to wear a symbol of a prestigious university that values life experiences as much as the knowledge attained in books. I want to be a Trojan.

I can say USC alumni and students have a history of being more receptive to veterans than the U of C schools to which you also applied. What is your overall GPA for the transferable credits, if you know?
