Chance me, if you'd be so kind :)

I'm sorry... I know these threads are annoying. But I just am so curious.

Let's see...

Grad Year: 2010
Unweighted GPA: 4.0
Rank: 1/246
Classes: Taken hardest that i can... ap's and such

ACT: 35 composite
SAT: taking next month
PSAT: 215, should make me a national merit finalist (i'm from michigan)
Race: White

Will have...
4 yrs student council (VP of my class and secretary of the council)
4 yrs french club
3 yrs varsity soccer (including captain, all-area, all-leauge)
National Honor Society
Played club soccer for like 6 yrs
Voice lessons, with 1's (highest rating) in state competion for 4 yrs
Volunteer in a kindergarden class every week
church youth group leader

haha yep all i can think of for the moment. so what are my chances at getting into stanford? thanks!

Stanford’s admit rate this year is roughly 7.5%
And it will likely be much lower next year

Assuming you get a good SAT score, you have your foot in the door.
But your ECs are pretty good. The voice lessons and soccer combination? Interesting.
That should help you : P

But I cant’ really chance you … no one really can.

What in the world is with this sudden influx of “Chance Me” threads??!?

GUESSS is wrong, the admit rate will not be much lower next year. They expect this year to be the worst, next year should actually be slightly easier to get in. OP, from what you’ve put forward you look like you’re on the right track but its all about essays and recs. Get those to be phenomenal, you’ll have great chances.
