get off collegeconfidential

stop deciding what college you’re going to go to in soph year

enjoy hs and try your best in everything!

You do realize that your junior and senior years are more crucial than your freshman/sophomore years, right?

I’m sure you’ll get into UCLA if you keep up your current stats, and I don’t know much about the non-Ivies on your list, but for the Ivies it’s a crapshoot. Even 5.0 GPAs and 2400 SATs aren’t guaranteed a spot in the Ivies. You never know.

Also, Jinglybells definitely has a point. Seriously. Stop worrying so much about college and enjoy high school. Do what you love, not what looks good on college applications, or else all they will see in your extracurriculars and essays is someone who tried too hard.

You don’t need to chance me back, I was accepted to UCSD, UCLA and UCB and waitlisted at Harvard and MIT. You could look at my chance thread for an idea, I guess.

Hopefully I helped.

Looks great like your on the right track! Also, enjoy high school and chance me back(:

Looks pretty good, keep in mind that the more community service hours the better. Also, maybe try to get a leadership position in one of those clubs as well by your senior year. Of course you can’t really bring your gpa up much at this point  a large portion of those schools are reach schools for everyone but if you keep those stats up I am sure you will get in to at least a few of them, anyway chance me back please
