Douglas W, does your HS send many kids to Ivy League? Just checking because sometimes it’s hard to break the barrier if you come from an “unknown” place. Your stats are great and you have solid ECs.

With re: to your questions of Christianity. I’m not an expert but I think you would find your views respected at any place of higher learning. You may have to justify your “dogma”, but that is what critical thinking is all about, right?

Thanks, whiteagle. Well, we have had quite a few students go to Duke, Stanford, and Yale, and a few go to Cornell, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Over two thirds of the graduating class goes on to a school like Notre Dame, Calvin College, or UCLA.

Sounds like you are golden. Good luck! Dartmouth is a great school and you’d like it a lot, from all that I hear.

Really? That’s pretty interesting: Palo Alto, Cupertino, Saratoga, Menlo Park, San Jose, Fremont, etc. have amazing public high schools. Then again, perhaps I’m just in the little bubble made here near Stanford University

Yes, CA is not so spectacular for states’ testing scores, but do consider that we have the largest population of any state…

And good luck to you! Dartmouth is a great school!!
