You have awesome scores and a great GPA which will be a huge plus. The only downside I see may be in your ECs because I don't see any one focus/passion. That won't hurt you too badly though. Overall, JHU for you will be a high match/slight reach maybe just because BME is ridiculously competitive.

You can chance me back if you'd like. My thread is on the next page.

hey i moved here when i was 10 too! but i went to an international school so i guess it really doesnt count.. hahha and no it definitely doesnt help. its like.. almost a burden in college applications :x it sucks.

SoCaliii - I think you have a great shot - my prediction is that u will get in
What are my chances? I know my SAT Reasoning isnt great

Asians are not minorities when applying to colleges... Also, I agree that you lack passion/focus in your ECs. That will hurt you, especially for BME.

"IBs (including this year's: 5 FRENCH, 4 CHEMISTRY[li] "
[/li]

Lol what? That's really really average... doesn't go with the rest of your stats...

And since I didn't really specify earlier, it looks fit-ish to me, with consideration to test scores but since Hopkins doesn't stress them, your EC's might pull you down a bit. Soo... slight reach, in my unqualified opinion.

pvtejasvi - I think while your scores a avg at best it's up to JHU admission officers to decide how they'll weigh in the amount of EC you have. I'm pretty sure its enough to get you in though. : )
