Yeah that’s all I have for now. UF would definitely be a top choice right now, going to visit in March (can’t wait!). Gahh i just want to apply already lol… anyways please respond if you can. thanks

i feel like all i really need to do is get good enough SAT/ACT scores. thoughts?

Sounds like you will be a match for UF. I’m no expert, just a senior waiting 11 more days for my decision! Good luck.

@pacollegekid97 Thank you so much, that gives me a huge confidence boost. Best of luck for UF decision day… I’m positive you’ll do great!!!

Thanks! Study hard, junior year is important!

Thank you I will

You’re on a great track so far Danny, I must say  Your predicted GPA falls within UF standards. Your EC’s are all over the place, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it shows you’re taking steps to discovering yourself. Just remember, UF has always valued 100 hours in one area rather than 10 hours in ten areas, for example. If you manage to get above a 1900 on your SAT I would say you’re a foot in.
As I said on the Results thread, I plan to make a new thread full of essays (which are very important, as you know) of UF applicants. I doubt the “Good Life” theme will change next year, so I believe we will be doing you and your pals a good service in providing them for you. In any case, keep up the great work and I hope to see you there one day! Cheers.

Thanks so much for the response @AGoodFloridian! Yeah it’s taken me until this year to really find what EC’s are for me, and that’s mostly music/the arts (I chose NTHS since I want to major in engineering though). That SAT score sounds tough lol hopefully I can do it. Thanks again and hope to see you there!

yeah some of this stuff changed but hopefully I still have a great chance, thanks to those who replied
