-My School Only offers 5 AP classes, and I am not taking AP calc. I could not take AP Lit/AP USH since my school requires the AP and non AP version of a class to be taken at the same time (Insane I Know). So I did not take them since I would have to drop all of my science classes. We also do not have “Honors” classes
-5 years of Spanish as well

I would think you have a very good chance at Lehigh. My D has almost identical stats. & I think she has a good chance also- will apply as a chemE major- not sure about Colgate- & Boston college- do think they have reputation of being more competitive. BC not great reputation for financial aide but neither does Villanova & D will most likely apply there & we can’t pay full price. Will you apply to Penn State? My D is taking SAT1 again in august - trying to bring scores up a bit for UCONN honors ( 1450-is the new target score). We are in state for UCONN. Best wishes!
So far she is thinking of applying to Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell, Villanova, UCONN and Tufts ( as a very high reach- probably no chance of getting in) she does not want a school in an urban setting, she’s only looking at schools with a chemE majors (& strong math programs as that may end up as major) She also prefers not to go too far north. RPI- just sent offer for free application but she is not sure about 70% male and neither am I lol. She may end up applying to Binghamton & Stony Brook also. Asked if she wanted to see UMASS but she thinks she prefers UCONN if she goes to a state school. FYI both UMASS and definitely UCONN give many strong OOS students $18,000 in merit- taking down the cost to instate levels.
If you look at the startclass site which pulls its data from the CDS, Lafayette and Lehigh are virtually equal. Lehigh is one point higher on average ACT but Lafayette excels at other metrics. I think with these two schools it really depends on the sort of school that you want to attend. Lehigh is a University with more than twice as many students. Lafayette is a Liberal Arts college with engineering. And each school will have relative strengths and weaknesses within particular areas of study. You can’t go wrong with either but one’s personal preferences may tip the decision in one direction or another. My kid is going to Lafayette in the fall but he never applied to Lehigh even though we have relatives who attended. He wanted to attend a small liberal arts college and isn’t going for engineering. He’s interested in bio and chem and Lafayette is very strong in both. Oh, and Lafayette is definitely better at football
