Oh wise college confidential-ians, help me with your wisdom and perspective. I'm a junior girl interested in doing a double major in Art and Computer Science. I don't really have the best test scores (haha totally forgot to study), but I'm hoping my ECs will make up for it slightly!

SAT CR: 780
SAT M: 690
SAT W: 590 [haha WHOOPS]
GPA: 3.8 [unweighted, college GPA really impacted it :C]
I'll have taken two years of fulltime classes at Ohio State through their PSEOP program by the time I graduate, and will probs have junior state there. My school doesn't weight the classes I take there, so because of a bad math grade I've lost my 4.0. Oh well!

Classes!:
Spanish (3 yrs)
English: 4 yrs worth (+2 college courses)
History: 3 yrs worth (+1 college course)
Math: multivariable calculus + discrete mathematical structures (intro to set theory, proofwriting, etc.) (probably going to take linear algebra at some point? maybe diff eq.)
Science: physics, bio, going to take chem over the summer then at OSU in the fall.
Other stuff: Taking a graduate motion capture production class this spring, taken an intro programming class, did an independent study art. Also took a ballet! It was super fun, highly recommend dance classes. I'm sure there's other stuff, but whatevers

ECs:
- Work at Advanced Computing Center of Art and Design @ OSU (assisted in motion capture research, human/computer interaction grad project, and done several demonstrations for public/private events)
- Varsity Swimming (4 yrs)
- Varsity Cheerleading (1 yr)
- FIRST Robotics (4 yrs)
- Teaching assistant at Ohio State for CSE203 (introductory programming class with a focus on video games + animation)
- 3D Animation Camp (4 yrs)
- Volunteer for Olympic swim qualifier trials (timer)
- Volunteer at high school district swim meet (timer)
- Helped run a water station for local marathon (3x)

I don't have a finished portfolio yet, I'm planning on including some 3D animation I've done, motion capture research (I've been investigating digital puppetry), a sketchbook, and some digital art. Over the summer I plan on doing some personal research into paper + fabric computing, so I should be able to add those! C:

Schools I'd like to apply to:
Carnegie Mellon (Computer Science/Art joint major program)
MIT
University of Washington
New York University

If I seem to be forgetting anything, please feel free to notify me. Suggestions for places to look into would be lovely!
