<p>Hey! I'm new to this site, but I've encountered the forums many times when searching on google for various things. =)</p>

<p>Anyways, I want 100% honest opinions on my chances and I will return the favor to whoever asks! </p>

<p>I'm an asian female (i know..not good =(...)</p>

<p>Combined SAT: 2250
Unweighted GPA: 3.91, Weighted: 4.65</p>

<p>My school is public, in top 25 purely because of its IB program which is only 20% of the student population. </p>

<p>Main ECs:
Prez/Founder of an honor society
prez/founder of my own art club
prez of a couple other clubs
I play a string instrument and am in a youth orchestra for that (have been in the all-state orchestra for that past few years)
I love horseback riding! and have been riding for that past 8 years or so
member of nhs,science honor society</p>

<p>that's all I can think of right now</p>

<p>I know my stats are weak, but I have strong ECs and I believe I've shown initiative in hs. I have a strong personality even if i'm a bit dumb =(</p>

<p>I'm planning on submitting visual and musical art supplements for whatever I can. Because of time, I may just end up submitting visual art supplements, since I'm heading into engineering. </p>

<p>My top choice I guess would be Stanford, but I'm guessing Ima head to Carnegie most likely since its a great school and I have a very good chance of making it in. </p>

<p>you have no chance at any of those schools without subject tests [except maryland which is probably at around 95%]</p>

<p>in my rising sophomore year, i was in the PROMYS program (6-week math residential at BU)
in my rising senior year, i was in the SEAP program (8 week internship w/ the Navy)</p>

<p>I have a part time job in the national air and space museum also.</p>

<p>Continue to show commitment in your ECs. Write some good essays and receive good essays! But in all, you are competitive to all the schools you are applying to with the Ivies being the reaches. <p>Yeah, you’re pretty much in for everything except the top Ivy Leagues. You don’t need to worry about it at all :). Your EC’s and GPA def outweigh your SATs. Chance me back?</p>
