Chance me maybe?

-Drumming lessons every week
-Semi-pro Baseball
...and possibly Mock Trial, World Affairs club, and the School Newspaper this year

Things that might get counted against me:
-NO AP's or honors so far (I'm going to try to get as many as I can for my senior year, and I might do dual enrollment).
-I've been to 2 different high schools in three years, not because of discipline problems, but because of my mom's inability to pay for Catholic school (I went to Catholic school grades 9 and 11).

I think you’ll need to go up higher on SAT/ACT. GPA is a bit on the low side for admission. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much for your reply. I want to raise my SAT to at least an 1800 and try to get my senior year GPA above a 4.0. Do you think that will help? And do you know if it’s possible to get an interview with the admissions department? Thanks again :D

Aim for a combined M + CR score of at least 1200. UMCP doesn’t offer interviews. Good luck!

your chances increase greatly if you get your SAT score up to at least 1800
