Hi everyone!

So I'm a junior and I am ecstatic about college!!
However, I have devoted myself to many extra curriculars so my grades are not the BEST.
I've been wanting to go to MIT since.. forever.
I love science to an unimaginable extent.

Here is a quick over view of my resume:

grade wise:

about 95 gpa

I am taking 3 APs this year (AP psych, APush, AP French) and I took AP world (4). (history isn't my thing)

I have been studying ACT and I've been getting 33-34 ! (im taking the test this saturday!)

I took the chemistry SAT (730) but I plan on retaking it as well as taking sat french sat math 2, and possibly sat physics
as you can see, im not a TOTAL "nerd"
(next year, I am going to take AP bio, AP calc bc, AP macro, organic chemistry)

service:

honors:

and.....
probably the strongest part of my resume:

science awards:
- 2nd place at the INTEL International Science and engineering fair in 2013
- 1st place in the New York city science and engineering fair in 2013 and 2014
- 1st place in KMSO science fair 2014

-Feminist press award
- 1st place in the American chemical society highschool science fair
and more to come!
- (looking forward to going to INTEL's international science and engineering fair this year also!!)

(I did research on Alzheimer's disease... I developed a therapeutic drug that was able to stop the progression of AD in vitro and I am now hoping to get a patent on it and do further research!!)
I wish I could illustrate the extent to which I am passionate about science but for now, I will present the facts to you.

At my school, I can confidently say that I am a leader in science. I go to a humanities school and science is kind of hid in the corner. So, I made a motto for the school's science newsletter: "Science is humanities!"

Getting recommendations from both science and humanities teachers is not a problem for me because I spend more time with my teacher than with my friends. I love helping them out and talking to them like a friend!

Also, essay writing (for college apps) is not a problem that I think I will face. Most students in my highschool have it well on their way when college essays come around. This is because our school makes us write essays upon essays since freshman year. You wouldn't believe the amounts of trees that were killed.

Anyways, I do have some concerns:

I got an 85 in trigonometry... but after this MAJOR mistake, I picked up my grades this year and now my calculus average is a 97.

I know MIT asks for rankings but my school specifically states that it does not rank students... How would MIT consider me?

Maybe I should tell you that I am a female asian!

Thank you for your time and consideration.
I've been bugging everyone around me, asking what are my chances for MIT, but no one seems to have a legitimate, helpful answer.

Please and thank you!!!!
