Cost Constraints / Budget
Prob not applying for aid

Schools

  • Safety (certain admission and affordability)
  • Penn state
  • pitt
  • Reach
  • Boston college (ed)
  • Syracuse
  • gwu
  • nyu
  • umich
  • unc

Only really applying to reaches bc Penn state is a safety & VERY affordable for me (I get 75% off tuition)

So then why apply to any reaches?

For SU and GW, you have to demonstrate a ton of interest. Forgetting U Mich and UNC are impossible, you’d never get to cost - unless UNC if you have demonstrated need.

BC is a risk unless it’s your true #1 and your parents can afford it - or you get enough aid to make them say - 75% off tuition at PSU gets you to under $20K total cost vs. BC at over $80K (if you don’t get aid). Do you know if you’d get need aid or if not, would your parents be willing to spend over 4x the cost of PSU?

Otherwise, don’t ED.

Best of luck.
