Chance me please, and also if possible, recommend me some schools please!

Hi, I actually graduated in the summer of 2012, and now I am going to start applying to schools for fall 2014 and I am just wondering about my chances at some schools I want to go to.

Schools I have been looking at:
Ohio State University-Columbus <----- Top choice
University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign
University of Michigan – Ann Arbor
University of Indiana – Bloomington
University of Cincinnati
San Francisco State University
Bowling Green State University
UC Davis, SB, SD, Irvine, Riverside
(any other colleges you guys suggest that would be a match with my stat)

Academic info:
- Small International Christian school in Malaysia
- GPA: 3.3508 (weighted) 3.32 (unweighted)
-Some how my school only shows the weighted one, and I had to
calculate the unweighted GPA myself.
- Class Rank: 28/47 (Yeah, we were a small class)
- SAT: 540/CR 610/M 560/WR (this is my first sitting score, I actually got
worse scores on my second take, so I am not going to use it.)
- AP: Music Theory 5, Mandarin 5, Calculus 3, English Language and
Composition 3, Mac/Mic Economics both 1 (Totally flunked it, not
going to report this)
- Intended Major: Music, Accounting/business (If I can't pass the auditions)

Comments: My GPA actually has a descending trend (when unweighted), but it has been a pretty stable 3.3~ when weighted. I didn't do too well on my AP classes (Music theory was the only A, and english was a C+, and econ and calc were B-'s), but managed to pass the tests. I would have taken more AP classes if my school actually offered them, but they didn't and the online programs cost a fortune; and I wasn't interested in science. And I had some family issues that affected my studies, so that was not my full potential. As for the SAT, I plan to take it one more time this coming October, just to see how much more I can improve it, so any suggestions what score I should aim for?

Comments:
I was living in a foreign country, in a small city, so I didn't get a lot of opportunities beside school events for ECs. As you can see, most of my activities are heavily involved in music since that's the only thing I am good at.

Jobs:
During School
-Personal Assistant to a high level salesman at an insurance company: 9th grade summer
-Waiter at a breakfast place: 10th grade summer
After Graduation
-Waiter at an Italian restaurant
-Administrative Assistant/English Consultant at a local company
-English Tutor

Comments:
Since I was living in a foreign country, i couldn't be employed, or else I would have tried to get more jobs. So after I graduated and moved back my home country, I got 3 jobs, and they are at the same time.

Basic Info:
-International
-Race: Asian
-Country: Taiwan

Thanks for reading this post. I know it's long and has useless comments, but I just want to be thorough so I can understand where my chances stand. Thank you so much in advance.

I don’t want to discourage you, but your GPA and SAT scores are really out of mid 50% range by a lot for most of the schools on the list. You probably should try a community college first and then transfer into a better college later on.

^To billscho: It’s ok, I know that my class rank is bad. So do you think I might have better chances if I get a much better SAT score?

Yes, better SAT score would help. You probably need at least 2000+ in SAT considering your GPA and international. Seriously, you should consider some community colleges. Many students transferred to top universities after a couple years at smaller colleges.

Yeah thanks, I will try to boost my SAT as hard as I can since it’s the only thing I can change now. There’s just a few personal reasons why I am really reluctant on going to community colleges.
