And Im out of state

Rejected: UMD college park (so upset), fordham
Accepted: JMU, Fairfield

Do I have a chance at UCONN?

I have very similar academic stats as you! I also applied to UMD college park and didn’t get in. I applied for biomedical engineering - also have a lot of volunteer/leadership hours and positions - so hopefully everything evens out. I was accepted to penn state, temple, and Rutgers so far.

I think your SAT scores may be too low. I’m instate and at my school the ave accepted GPA was 3.53 and the combined SAT was 1824. If you are out of state it would probably be even tougher.

I think it depends on your major. SAT’s do seem low, but your GPA is good. My son got in with an 1800, and they told me at open house that it was low/borderline. But he did get in to ACES. I hear College of Liberal Arts and ACES are the best ways to get in. Good luck.

Check your Uconn portal. My decision (accepted) has been up for two weeks now.
