Hello there! I took the sats for the first time and got a 1950, which I'm ok with for a first try, and after sat and act prep I have no doubt that I can achieve at least a 2150 or something on the second try. I'm taking sat2s in Lit and US Hist, and am planning on a 730+ in Lit, hopefully the same in US. I have a good gpa, don't know what it is exactly uw, but as of now it's a 4.3. I have solid extra currics: started a club and am president, working on starting another, member of a community outreach program, and 2 other clubs. Member of 2 charity organizations, which I created/maintain websites for, member of the NHS, Latin Honor Society, 2 academic Latin Medusa awards, bodan belt in Tae kwon do, intern at a radio station with some air time, and I'm a peer leader. This summer I'm also volunteering at a hospital, food pantry, and local Republicans committee. I'm also going on an archeological tour of Greece. I have been playing guitar and piano for the last 4 years, and I have been a girl scout since kindergarten. I am a chief editor of my school's online newspaper, and a writer for the school paper.

Clearly, I'm not the most qualified applicant in regard to statistics, but I love Princeton.I'm not just trying to get in so I can tell people I'm in an ivy league school. If it wasn't ivy league, I wouldn't like it any less. I especially love the architecture, it's so ornate and mysterious, I would love to learn more about it. I also love the town of Princeton, and the community, and that lots of students bike to classes, I haven't seen that at any other college I visited! History fascinates me, and I love how rich in history not only the university is, but the whole town as well. My top school, hands down. I've also started researching some of the professors, and I am so impressed! Hopefully, this will show in my essays as well.

So, do I have at least a shot? I'm really banking on my love for the college to show in my essays, which hopefully will make up for anything I'm lacking.
