Work experience:

-Worked at a sleep away camp in Maine for 10 weeks during the Summer of 2012, lived with and taught boys ages 8-15.
-My dad owns apartment buildings in New Britain, CT, and I might also go down there a few times this summer just as an added bonus on my application.

Extracurriculars/Volunteering:

-Winter Musicals
-Fall One Act Plays
-Choir (All-State, All-Region, also performed in Italy)
-Service clubs like Key Club and Operation Smile
-Project Reach (Teaching 5th graders in town about stereotypes and prejudice)
-Holiday Cabaret (Perform during the holidays raising money for soup kitchen, then at the end, perform for the homeless and deliver money)
-3 seasons Crew
-2 seasons Track/Cross Country
-Have volunteered at a soup kitchen numerous times, and on Christmas morning
-Have worked and volunteered extensively with HARC, an organization aimed at relief for those with mental disabilities and their families. Personally connected as my family's extremely close friend had a son with severe brain damage. Very devoted to this organization. Volunteered at several Walkathons and golf tournaments.

Also, I am a very good writer, so I expect my essays to be good. I know the interview is a major factor, so I am obviously taking that into consideration as well.

Please let me know what you think! Thanks!!!

( I live there ) I can’t really chance you because I don’t know how your ec’s would be considered as a domestic student . Still the best advice I’ve been given is quality vs. quantity so put as much passion as you can in your essays and in the interview
My experience with English speaking countries is that , unlike here , passion and commitment are rewarded
Best luck with your application
