<p>i've already posted this in "what are my chances" but i need more opinions, so...</p>

<p>i'm an upcoming senior this year, and i've been interested in cornell's hotel school for AGES. could you please look at my scores and tell me if i have any chance at getting there?</p>
<p>GPA:3.8
rank: top 13%
SAT I: 800 V, 750 M, 700 W
SAT II: 790 Lit, 660 Math IC (<--should i retake it?! a lot of people i know who go to ivies get 800's)</p>
<p>EC:
Marching Band- 5 years, and i'm drum major (head honcho) =]
School Newspaper- 4 years, editor in chief this year
Church volunteer teaching- 4 years
Church acting group- 4 years
NHS this year
Karate- 4 years</p>

<p>i'm not a hotelie but those stats look fine for cornell as a whole. the service job is great for your hotel interest work @ hotel will be even better), and your ECs show focus and commitment.</p>
<p>If you're not good at talking to adults, practice for your interview by having mock interviews with adults you know.</p>
<p>Are you in New York, Sunflower? If so, what band are you the drum major for? And, are you going to the Drum Major Academy with George Parks this summer? I am the drum major at Union Endicott high school...</p>
<p>If not, it's still pretty sweet being a drum major, don'tchya think? :)</p>
