<p>You have fairly less than an average chance in my opinion. Your SAT (1420) isn’t particularly strong nor is your senior schedule particularly rigorous. Your EC’s are decent though, you have pretty good leadership</p>
<p>I think I’m going to disagree somewhat with the esteemed Cortana on this one.</p>
<p>Based on the Common Data Set, your SAT CR-M seem pretty average for admitted students. Likewise, your GPA is probably right in line with the average admitee. I agree with Cortana about your ECs and leadership.</p>
<p>I’d say average chance of admittance, maybe a bit above average. Certainly not a lock, though.</p>
<p>Just to clarify, I am taking the most rigorous schedule possible at my school. As I said we don’t have AP classes, humanities and financial literacy are required courses at my school and my electives were statistics, Spanish 5, and e-commerce (a business class)</p>
<p>Your scores and GPA are roughly average. On the one hand, it’s great you’ve taken the most rigorous courses possible, and technically this won’t count against you. However, I can’t imagine Cornell would prefer you over another candidate who was able to take AP classes. Cornell doesn’t care if you receive college credit for your classes, btw since they consider “college in high school” (or whatever you call it) pretty much a scam. For someone like you, I’d say your essays carry more weight. I’ll say 40%, but with a high margin of error.</p>
