<p>Alright, here is what I can tell you my friend. First off, Columbia is not a target school for anyone, unless they cured cancer or something (same with all Ivies). Your GPA is on track, but your SAT needs to be increased considerably to make you competitive. For instance, a 2250 would be competitive. Your course load is rigorous, but so is everyone else’s unfortunately. You have several interesting EC’s, but it’s all about how you present them. Make sure to list achievements, leadership, positions, etc - not just a laundry list. Show depth over breadth. Finally, I would concentrate on having solid essays and recommendations - they can make or break you. Your ethnicity helps as well, but isn’t a free ticket in by any means. I would say that Columbia is still a high reach. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck and I urge you to apply, you never know what might happen! </p>
