<p>PLEASE CHANCE ME.This school is my top choice school. one of the few Ivy leagues that I will be applying to.
UW GPA: 4.0 W GPA: 6 point something. IM A HISPANIC JUNIOR IN A COMPETETIVE SCHOOL. CLASS RANK. top 2%, all of these stats are provisional although I already took 9 of the 11 ap exams!</p>

<p>I have taken 11 ap classes.
AP WORLD HISTORY: GOT A 5
AP EURO HISTORY: GOT A 4
AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY: GOT A 5
AP FRENCH:GOT A 4
AP ENGLISH LANGUAGE: GOT A 5
AP ENGLISH LITERATURE: GOT A 5
AP GOVERNMENT: GOT A 5
AP MACROECONOMICS: GOT A 4
APUSH: GOT A 5
AP BIOLOGY: GOT A 5
AP MICROECONOMICS: GOT A 5</p>

<p>I'm also an IB student (unfortunately) and Im still enrolled in the IB.</p>

<p>SAT 1: 2200 (already got this score)
SAT 2: MATH II: 750 and Biology:730</p>

<p>extra curriculars:
drug free club at school: all 4 years
science honor society: 3 years
science olympiad several times
best buddies: helped autistic children at school.
key club president
over 300 community hours at a hospital.
over 200 hours at shake-a-leg: non-profit organization for autistic kids
debate club vice president
captain of swim team : this year and senior year.
advanced SCUBA DIVER.
ecology club
.....some other minor things but I forgot.</p>

<p>extra stuff: I have 4 siblings, Im middle class, and I speak spanish at home. neither of my parents were raised in the US.</p>

<p>hmm… are u sure columbia is a reach for her ? did u not see her sat score ? I would say high match/low reach.</p>

<p>When the acceptance rate of a school is in the single digits (Columbia is ~8-9%) it’s pretty much a reach for anyone…</p>

<p>SAT of 2200 is not low. OP, you have a shot at Columbia. Write a killer essay and make yourself stand out. Gook luck.</p>

<p>You are by no means a bad applicant, but like Catria said when a school’s acceptance rate is below 10% and receives so many stellar applicants, admissions will be a bit of a crapshoot and a reach for nearly all but the most spectacular applicants. Kinda the old “cure cancer and you’re guaranteed in” sorta thing.</p>

<p>Ur Gpa is a 6 point something??? How!? And you do have a really good chance, it’s not a reach I would say high match</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty descent shot at admission to Columbia. Your stats are awesome PLUS you’re involvement outside of academics are really interesting.

<p>Reach. It’s a reach for anyone. I got in but it might be because of my uncle. You do have a decent shot though. Write some stellar essays and get some great recs and you are good to go. Good Luck(:</p>

<p>well My gpa weighed is a 6 point something because I took 11 AP classes not including the IB curriculum that I am in now. plus I took some anatomy college courses that I enjoy over the summer.</p>
