THANKS!!!!

You have a great class rank, perfect SAT II and ACT scores. Your ECs have some fluff yet are overall pretty good. Remember, you can only put 7 ECs on the common app so beware. Also, I advise you to only list your best awards, 15th place is not going to be seen as that impressive. I think you'll get into at least 3 of HYPSM and all your other schools (assuming you write good UChi essays)

Please chance me at:

good SAT scores, good rank/gpa, good AP scores, tough courseload, excellent EC's, amazing volunteer work. very good chances at all those schools IF you don't make yourself sound like an idiot in your essays. but i'm sure you won't so...good luck

Take a look at the posts on this thread, guys:

academics: great, but I think some colleges need a humanities SAT II
ECs: weak. Lots of minor awards, but no big wins (lol 3 aime)
You’re going to have a hard time standing out to colleges among the throngs of other asians with almost identical stats.

I agree. But u know, you could be better than the rest. Be the most asian of the asians.

face palm

I am sorry but you’re just another Asian. You have to somehow stand out. I dun see that yet. Maybe it’ll be in your essay

People,

This person was a rising senior in 2007. Somehow I doubt he/she is worrying about the application process right now.

Damn who the hell responds to this post. Argg. Waste of time. I wonder where this kid ends up.
