Chance me PLEASE!! I PROMISE I WILL CHANCE BACK!

I am applying to the engineering schools at these schools for bioengineering:Rice,UC Berkeley,Duke,Northwestern,UVa,Lehigh,U of Michigan,Tulane,Case Western Reserve,Rutgers New brunswick(the last 3 are safeties)

I have no legacies @ any of these places, so I'm hoping for a miracle!

Basic Info

Gender: Female
Race: White(Middle Eastern/American)

Academics

GPA: My High School does not report unweighted GPA, but I'm guessing around 3.75
GPA (weighted): 3.98 as of the end of junior year (My school does not offer heavy weighting for Honors and AP's compared to other High Schools)
Rank: My school does not report, but I imagine that I am in the top 10%. Keep in mind that I go to an extremely competitive public high school in NJ that is ranked in the top 5 public schools in the state. My class size is about 330 students.
Senior Schedule: AP English Lit, AP Biology, AP Calc AB, Spanish 5 Honors, American History II CPA, Physics CPA, Peer Leadership Program CPA

Standardized Tests

ACT 1: 34 composite; 35 E; 36 M; 33 R; 32 S; 8 W(31 combined English/Writing)
SAT: 2250; 750 M; 740 CR; 760 W
APs: 5 on Statistics (My school offers only 3 or 4 AP's for Juniors, and if you have not doubled science at least one year before junior year, you do not have the prerequisites for AP science classes Junior year so that is why I only took one AP)
SAT Subject Tests: Math II: 800 Chem:620 :( Bio(Eco): 670 (BIG QUESTION I NEED ANSWERED: at some schools that I am applying to, sat 2's are either required or strongly recommended for engineering students. Which should I send in because I don't really want to retake them. I know that my bio is low but i was thinking of sending that with the math, but i thought it might look bad since i'm going into bioengineering...TELL ME WHAT TO DO!! *keep in mind i took bio after a regular-level sophomore year bio course in 10th grade since i am taking ap bio senior year)

Extracurriculars (Formal)

Jobs

Math tutor

Awards

Highest Honors awarded by principal all 4 years
National Merit Semifinalist

Recs

I know for a fact that one of them is so good that it could mean the difference between getting in somewhere or not, the other one will be good, but pretty standard as far as recs go.

Essays

IDK yet, i'm still working on it, but i would not submit something that is not outstanding

youve got a good shot at all of those schools
chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1369567-chances-grinnell-other-recomendations-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

I think you stand a very good chance (60-75%) at all of the schools except UC Berkeley (about 55%), Duke, and Northwestern (I just don’t know enough about admissions statistics at either of those schools to give a good chance).

Your application stats are pretty strong. Your biggest weakness is the SAT II’s – but I would send Math and Bio. Your Bio score would probably on the low side, but it should be good enough for the institutions you are applying to. Being in the top 10% of your class is great, and, though you only took one AP Test, as long as you are taking courses that are close to as difficult as your school offers, your course rigor should be fine.

I wouldn’t say your EC’s stand out, but they are broad enough and show good dedication and enough leadership, and definitely are good enough. College admission officers would much prefer your EC’s to those of a person who is clearly just padding their resume with random stuff.

So, in the end, good job, good luck, and I think you stand a good chance at the colleges you mentioned. Now, if you can ignore my typo, please chance me back at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1368810-chanes-hys-among-others-thanks.html</a> . Thanks. :)
