Wash U. really cares about what you write about in your personal statement. THeir application is rather simple, so that is where you have to shine. Also, your extracurriculars are good, but colleges are not really looking for “well rounded” students anymore. They want to see students who have worked hard and achieved by focusing on certain, specific areas. I see that you have been doing the musical a lot. Maybe that is something you might want to highlight… perhaps even send in an arts supplement. Your grades and class placing are great. I have a friend who got into Emory, she didn’t have great grades but she had amazing extracurriculars… Just make sure to bring out passion, focus, and drive in your applications and you’ll do fine.</p>
