Chance me please, i really need it before writing essays and i will chance u back. :)

hey I'm a senior high school student (international) who is aspiring for top universities for computer science engineering. My scores and ECs are as follows:

SAT Math-2 : 800
SAT Physics : 780
AP Calculus BC : 5
AP Physics C:Mechanics : 5
AP Chemistry : 5

10th grade: belonged to the top 1% students in my country.
11th grade: around 3.8GPA (unweighted)

Internships at two well reputed engineering colleges in my state where i received training in nanotechnology and an insight into research and development ( BTW these science camps were held only for the top 1% students in the entire country)

Internship at a bank, where i learned about the stock market, the everyday work of people involved in banking , loans, ... the works.

Languages known: French ( 7yrs), Hindi (fluent), English( fluent), Japanese( 1yr)
Member of environment council.
Received gold medal for proficiency in academics for seven consecutive years in my school.
Received proficiency in computer science programming, for being the best in my school (out of a total of 150 comp. programming students) in 11th grade.

( Also I don't if this makes much of a difference but I go to a highly competitive school where the education is approximately five times tougher than the AP exams. )
Community service: 100hrs+

Although i haven't given the sat yet and I cant predict my score until i actually give it, i expect to score at least around 2000,(possibly even more - around 2100)

Please chance me for the following universities realistically and i will chance u back

Princeton University

UCB

CMU

Purdue

Columbia university

UCLA

UMich

UPenn

Boston University

anyone ;p??

Your EC’s and GPA (assuming typical grade deflation for internationals) are solid but assuming a 2100 SAT I score, the only “solid” match schools for you are probably Purdue and BU. Possibly UCLA. The others are low to high reaches.

Princeton University high reach

UCB low reach

CMU low reach

Purdue match

Columbia university high reach

UCLA high reach

UMich low reach

UPenn mid reach

Boston University match

thank you for ur reply jshain. anyone else?

Only thing that concerns me is your SAT. a 2000 just wont cut it esp for an international student. there are a ton of international that ace the SAT while those who arent international still struggle D’: however UCB, CMU, UCLA, UMich are all low reach or match as well as purdue and boston.

princeton, columbia, upenn will all be reaches. but if you can really pump up that SAT score. chances go up :D

bump…

I’m suprised by how low you think your SATs would be - everything else seems in line for any of the schools you mentioned, but you seem to really not think you will do that well on the SATs. If you’re wrong, and you get a 2200 (the informal ‘cut-off’) for the Ivy League, then I would put UCB as your target; Boston and the like as likelys, and the high fliers as reaches, with Princeton and Colombia as high reaches and UCLA and Penn as low reaches.

Princeton University= high reach
UCB= match
CMU= low reach
Purdue= match
Columbia university= high reach
UCLA= low reach
UMich= match
UPenn= mid reach
Boston University= accepted

bump… looking for a last set of opinions ty :)

bump…

Princeton University - reach (it is for basically everybody)

UCB - low reach

CMU - low reach

Purdue - unsure

Columbia university - reach

UCLA - reach

UMich - match

UPenn - slight reach

Boston University - safety

my predictions were based off of your expected SAT score but i think you can do much better than that based on your other stats!

chance me?
