Thank you!

You’re a strong candidate, with a chance at all those schools. Assuming you get all the internships, and achieve the SAT score of 2320+…

University of Pennsylvania - low reach
Harvard - reach
Columbia - low reach
Princeton - reach
University of Southern California - match
UC Berkeley - match
UCLA - match
University of Chicago - low reach
NYU - low match
Boston University -safety
Imperial College - safety
University of Arizona - safety
Stanford - reach
Yale - reach
Cornell - high match

Even though HYPS are reaches, you have a chance at them.

What do you think I need to make UPenn and University of Chicago and Cornell a low match school and Harvard and Princeton a low reach?

Well 2300+ is an amazing SAT score.

GLuck

To be honest, OP, you’re never going to make UPenn, UChicago, and Cornell low matches. Their prestige is at the point where getting them to be low matches would mean making Harvard/MIT/all that jazz a low reach. One other thing: with your interests, I highly suggest you tack on CMU to your list. They have great business and engineering schools, and their CS program is right up there with all the other tech schools (think MIT).

Good luck getting a +2300. Like. Seriously. Good. Luck.

With that said, once you hit 2250-ish, if you dont get a perfect score, it doesnt really matter to these schools. Your essays need to be BRILLIANT.

University of Pennsylvania - Low reach (I assume you’re not trying for Wharton. If you are then its a reach.)
